Insurance underwriting represents both the science and the art of insurance. As an Underwriter I use risk management principles, mathematics, data analytics, and actuarial science to drive topline revenue for Chubb’s Northeast book of business. My strong Risk Management Consultant background incorporates industry experience, agency relationships, and human intuition into the calculus of evaluating new or renewed business opportunities, and in managing a portfolio of commercial real estate, manufacturing and professional services. My role as a Commercial Underwriter is the quintessential insurance function, and its impact is felt directly on both the top line and the bottom line of Chubb’s Northeast operations.

USI Insurance Services

As a Risk Management Consultant at USI, I was instrumental in transforming the way our clients did business by designing customized commercial insurance plans and risk management strategies that had a profound impact on their operations. My approach entailed utilizing complex analytical data to identify risk areas through team-based collaboration, and implementing tailored industry-specific solutions that addressed their unique needs. Through my efforts, I empowered my clients to focus on their core business, enabling them to lead, grow, and thrive in a rapidly evolving and competitive market.

Liberty Mutual

I establish a comprehensive asset protection program for clients, applying my structured personal risk management approach that includes five critical steps. These include determining the asset base, quantifying the financial loss potential, evaluating loss prevention measures, reviewing insurance contracts thoroughly, and providing ongoing account management to ensure policies remain consistent with changing needs and evolving risks.

 

Verizon

At Verizon, I held a critical role in determining the overarching strategic, operational, and technical scope of new business opportunities with customers and prospects. Bridging the gap between the technical and sales teams, I leveraged my expertise as part sales engineer, technologist, and salesperson, enabling me to work closely with leadership and B2B to craft solution strategies and effectively communicate them to the key stakeholders. This role required a broad range of skills that I masterfully employed to understand the key strategic business issues involved and then guide the clients towards implementing innovative solutions that would facilitate their growth and success.

Samsung

As a Samsung Galaxy ecosystem expert with Verizon, I provided cutting-edge knowledge and invaluable insight to help drive sales of Samsung's complete product line. By training Solutions Specialists on all aspects of the ecosystem, I not only boosted the efficiencies of the sales process but also implemented several processes that helped refine the customer experience. My contribution as a subject matter expert enabled us to stay ahead of the game and provide our customers with the best possible solutions, while effectively increasing revenue for the company.

 

Google

Verizon handpicked me to help spearhead the launch of the highly sought-after Google Pixel 2 in the New York Metropolitan area, a feat that involved implementing the best strategies and exceptional leadership skills. As the Verizon Liaison and the key point of contact for the Google Field Team, I worked collaboratively to ensure a seamless launch while also enhancing the overall customer experience. Through my efforts, we were able to sell a staggering 3.6 million units worldwide, cementing Verizon's position as a leader in the telecoms industry and furthering my reputation as a skilled and dynamic professional.
